The Tin Tin RoomThis beautiful original room situated on the first floor of the Occidental is ideal for small groups for Christmas.
This room can accommodate up to 26 people for dining and 45 people for cocktails. We have a full private bar and a bar person will look after you for the duration of your stay. We will provide a Christmas tree, fairy lights, decorations and tablecloths. The room has a 42” Plasma Screen, and a music & sound System capable of running an iPod or laptop for presentations and photos. A minimum spend of $1,000 will be required for exclusive use. The Jazz BarLocated on the ground floor of the Occidental, the Jazz Bar provides a private area ideal for functions of more than 30 people.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting with authentic wooden panelling, feature lighting and two plasma screens available for your use if required. A full private bar is included as part of your function package as well as dedicated staff to ensure your guests are well looked after. For a seated dining function the Jazz bar can comfortably accommodate up to 35 guests while there is space for up to 70 people in a cocktail style setting. There is no charge for hire, however a minimum spend will be required, this will depend on the day and duration.
